Caliber Presents 1, what was the print run?

Supposedly 10,000 copies is what has been tossed around over the years, and mentioned a few times in the Crow thread from folks that track distribution estimates.

Check the Crow appreciation thread. I know it was discussed there, and I believe there are pictures that show that it either was 5k or 10k. It's all there.

Anyone know the 1st print print run on the Caliber presents #1 and The Crow first series 1-4? I am considering buying these but it is a lot of money for something that I don't know if I will like. I never read them before so I want to make sure that I can resell them and at least break even if I don't like them. I suspect that I will but again its a lot of money for my tight comic budget.

 

Don't know about the Caliber Presents #1, but the print runs for the first Crow series were as follows:

#3 (5,000)

#4 (12,000)
