Golden Age Sub-Mariner Comics # 1 .:.SOLD.:.

This just arrived from CGC yesterday and I want to offer it here on the boards first.

 

Sub-Mariner Comics # 1. Only a 2.5, but has really nice eye appeal for the grade.

 

The most recent sale I see in GPA that's close to this grade is one that sold this month in 4.0 for $5k. The book has been pressed by Matt Nelson.

I love it. So hard to find a decent low grade copy of this issue for some reason, you usually have to spend $4-5K+ just to get a copy. Is the writing on the cover in pencil?

Probably the cover tear in the centre of the spine, runs through the back cover as well. Still what a fantastic looking copy.
