MONTREAL COMIC-CON * September 11-12, 2010

Show was great! I'm hurting today a lil bit after the long drive home, but my first bi-lingual con was awesome! Despite the occaisional francophone mistaking my piddling grasp of the language for actual understading it was a lot of fun. Highlights were my awesome Joker with the Crow Bar done by EVS, getting to meet Brent Spiner (such a nice guy!) and meeting some great new friends.

I think the biggest suprise for me was Elvira, I had no idea she was going to have so much action at her table. Not really surprising though once you've met her because she is sooooo sweet to everyone she meets, just a pleasure to work with as a guest.

We might have to set up a forum dinner next year!

It's probably the first time I've had genuine fun at a con from the vendor's side of the table.

On the show Facebook page it's been announced that the show had 8,300 attendees in 2010. That's a bigger jump than I had originally estimated.
