that would have been my guess too.......but I've been known to make mistakes...

 

I'm guessing we're only a few days or next week away as officially they are scheduled for grading...normally goes fast once they're "scheduled".

 

Maybe I should wait until I have it in hand so I can post the photo....yeah.....a little more wait...so I can post the prize along with the book.

Bob, there are alot of people who can grade pretty well from a scan. Niks contests are proof to that, as well as the March Madness. I think I detracted too much for the top of the book, I thought it was crunch.

Along with results of several past grading contests it shows that grades from scans are actually pretty fairly consistently undergraded, and fairly accurate overall.

Oversized scans make flaws look worse, and this one looks a bit pixilated to boot. I had it at 9.0, maybe CR/OW.

It just goes to show any book I scan can be upgraded .5-1.0 grade for assumed value when buying from me
