Just voted myself. Its tough to pick one winner in these pre-heroe contests. I like all of them, and have enjoyed reading all of them multiple times. They're all winners to me.

Just voted 79. I LOVE Fin Fang Foom (used to have that one in my old pre-hero collection) - intriguing story! But man, 79 - it is one of my favorite for both pre and post code.

Looks like a 3 book race so far with #79, 80 and 97 neck in neck!! Another close one ending tonight at 9:30!!

I had to pick 79, my personal favorite. The coloring and Ditko inking is simply fantastic; great detail and it gives you the sense of dead of night moonlight, while Kirby’s anatomy and composition conveys the sense of unstoppable great bulk and mass coming right at these guys.

 

95 and 977 are also high on the list, but 79 is the one that grabs me the most.
