Apparently Kiltman has lost nine stone (over 120 pounds!!!) since he was last on the boards. The pictures do bear this out somewhat.

I do. I have always thought I should have been born across the pond. The only thing that confuses me is that I'm not the typical English bland.

Yep, you forgot EastEnders, darts, warm beer, cloth caps, whippets, dark satanic mills, bad teeth, constant rain, grey skies, socialism, the X-Factor and saying "".

 

Well, the cloth caps, whippets, dark satanic mills, socialism and saying "" are from the glorious north, the rest from the southern softies south of Birmingham.

 

Yeah, I did mix the two cliche strands together in that post. And my family is from Brum, so there.

After 13 months away I missed everything about the Boards in general. But here's a few things...

 

* First and foremost Nik. It was a shocker and saddening finding out

* Being able to participate in the hobby

* greggy's 666 PMs

* bbhooks........posts.....

* I miss watching simple threads escalate into mud slinging flame wars (oh, wait - that still happens)

* Kenny (Ze-Man) calling me after he's had a few too many beers

With all the love threads, hate threads and convention threads, it got me to wax nostalgic about earlier days on the boards. I realized I missed somethings and was happy about a few others not being here.

Did red hook ever return That traveling copy of Kamandi he decided to keep as a protest about two members being banned? That book belonged to ze-man iirc. Hope I have the details correct its been awhile.
