Foxing

Hey everyone. I'm still fairly novice as to the terms of comic collecting - but I'm always trying to learn more! Since joining this forum, I've heard the word "foxing" used a few times. I did a search but didn't find out, so I ask you all; what does it mean?

I believe there is a second, common definition of the term "foxing."

 

It refers to the inevitably doomed attempts made by comic collecting geeks to convince those scantily clad wannabe porn stars that get paid to dress up as Wonder Woman at comic conventions that comics are cool and they should come over some time to watch Ghost World, read some Acme Novelty Library, and, hopefully, expose their boobies.

 

As in:

 

"Hey Bob, you want to do a little foxing later, or are you too busy upgrading your Silver keys?"
