Ebay ... How do I ?...

Block a user ?.. I want to block a user so I don't come across any more auctions from them & bid by mistake ... Can this be done ?.. I've read of people blocking users on ebay before but not quite sure what all it does ...

 

I want to block user bookerytoys I brought a raw off them & it came in shape either because it was like that from the start or they don't know how to properly ship a book... I suspect a bit of both ...

You can block a bidder from buying from you but not you from bidding from a buyer unless you create your own block list, off ebay, and then consult it if you have not it committed it to memory.

Ebay is happy to create tools to stop bids but not tools to stop sales.(nor will it prevent Tools from selling or Tools from bidding )

You can block individual sellers from showing up in searches.

 

Go to advanced search --> scroll down to sellers --> check the box that says "only show items from" --> under "specific sellers" use the pull down menu and choose "exclude" ---> type in the seller(s) you wish to exclude from your searches --> scroll back up to the top, enter appropriate keyword(s) to search for, then hit "search" at the bottom.

 

Voila! You've now excluded sellers from your search.
