Picture in Trump 1 -- Who are these guys?

Trump Magazine #1 from 1957 had a fake liquor ad on the

inside front cover, with text about Will Elder, Wally Wood,

Jack Davis, and Harvey Kurtzman. I've included part of it below.

(there is a 4th person in the photo, but we only see his legs).

 

My question is, are the folks in the photograph really

Will Elder, Wally Wood, etc?

 

For example, that guy sitting in the tree -- is that Kurtzman or Elder?

Or just a model hired for the photo shoot? I don't know what these guys look like!

 

Anyone know for sure?

Here's my guess:

 

Upside down guy is Wood. Tree is Davis and hanged man is Elder. Kurtzman's legs?

All the Jack Davis photos I could find are recent where he's old and plump.

Thanks for posting the pictures of those guys.

 

I'm still confused as ever though. None of the guys in the photo

look like Kurtzman to me. The upside down guy sorta/kinda

looks like Wally Wood. The guy in the noose doens't resemble

any of the folks. I can't really identify anybody for sure.

 

I sent an email to Playboy awhile back asking them for help

in IDing these folks -- no response yet. I doubt I'll get a response really.

 

I'm starting to think these folks are just models hired for the job.
