FYI, the FX show has been cancelled a month before the show was set to happen.

 

Its a shame cause last year I was able to get some really great sketches from Oliver Coipel and Freddie Williams.

It didn't look good when they had no info on what artists would be there.

This is one that you could see coming a mile away. Last years show was a clownfest with vendors getting free tables at last moment to just fill the hall, no pipe and drape w/table coverings in booth, and a train wreck of a check in/load out.

 

FX death is not economy related, figure out your own reasons or the momentum shift. Now the big shows in florida are Megacon, Spooky Empire (not directly comic), Miami Book Fair (again, not directly comic, but plenty of comics there), and Supercon, each of those shows showing monster year over year growth in attendance.
