Hey folks, Ian here, making some rounds to let people know what’s going on with the Small Press Idol contest. We’re in the last week of the Round 1 Qualifying round, and we’re posting up new entrants fast and furious now. You can see the whole list of who has made it through to round 2, and who has not, here: http://www.dimestoreproductions.com/SPA/Idol/index.asp We’ll be continuing to post new entrants right up till the deadline day, March 15th. Lots of great talent has come forth for the contest, and the competition will be kicking into high gear in round 2 when we turn over who makes it into each next round to the public!

 

While I have your attention, I wanted to mention that the Dimestore weekly Kick Start e-mails that we send out to over 2,000 small press/independent fans, artists, comics stores, and publishers, are now available as online reading.
