Superhero Height List - Just How Tall Are They?

How do they stack up?

Keep in mind the average Height of U.S. Males is 5' 9.5"

 

A small list of the biggies:

 

Batman 6'2"

 

Superman 6'3"

 

Spider-Man 5'10" (official height now - but I thought it was 5'9" in the books)

 

Wolverine 5'3" Official (though you would never believe it looking at him in comic or on screen - Hugh Jackman who plays him in the movies is 6'2" nearly a full foot taller than the character)

 

Wonder Woman 6'0"

 

Iron Man (in suit) 6'6" - Tony Stark 6'1"

 

Joker 6'1"

 

Robin ( Grayson - Full Grown) 5'10"

 

Green Lantern, Hal Jordan 6'2"

 

Flash, Barry Allen 6'1"

 

Thor 6'6"

 

Captain America 6'2"

 

Doctor Doom 6'7" (in armor)

 

Aquaman 6'1"

 

 

"The Master Chief" from the "Halo" video game xbox series is 7'2" (for a friend)

I'd be really interested to ask the height of some of the cosmic beings.

I remember reading about writing and plausibility once (I think it was R. Heinlein on SF), and how there was a limit to size of beings due to physics, etc...

 

Presents some interesting questions, even though suspension of disbelief is prevalent.

He varies greatly but his official "Green" height is 7'6"

 

Gray is 6'6"

 

Savage is 8''0"

Stan Lee was interviewed on National Public Radio today, and one of the items that bothers him the most about the two recent Hulk movies was the height of the character.

 

I guess in the comics, Stan always wanted the Hulk around 7' tall. In the movies, he exceeds this height easily.

 

They'll be posting the interview tonight. I didn't catch all the details why this bothered him so much - but I'll find out soon enough.

Galactus Official - 28'9" (but he can vary at discretion)
