Yeah, I agree. Looks better than a 4.0 from the outside.

I didn't slab this book, but just took another look at it. It looks like there's one or multiple spine splits going from the bottom almost to the top staple. I think due to the 3D glasses splitting is pretty common on these issues.

 

Still a pretty book in the case
