If it wasn't for the cracked case and the miswrap? devil.gif

Certainly not $19K, as you'd have to be a crack baby to pay that amount.

Do any of the 9.8s have nice QP?

How much would you pay for a CGC 9.8 W HULK 181 with perfect QP?

Let me re-phrase that:

How much do you think a perfect copy is worth ? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Perfect 9.8 or a perfect copy in general (10.0)?

A 9.8, I'd say it would be likely to go for 20-21k.

A 10...well, the sky is the limit. 30k prehaps?

This is the exact same copy that Ideal sold to ebay user "hensley300" in February 2003 for $19,068. I know this because I have the auction page saved, and Ideal listed the serial number in the auction text. It matches the serial visible in this new auction's scan. It's also obvious it's the same book due to the exact same page whiteness and cover wrap as visible in the scan in my saved page.

By perfect ...I meant a CGC 9.8 with zero production defects.

A CGC 10.0 would go for multiples of $30K.... insane.gif

Buy the book not the label. makepoint.gif

I'd say as far as worth goes 10K max, even for the best copy out there.
