9.4 sold for 28K+ at heritage....

 

A little underwhelming. I was expecting double that consider what all other Marvel keys are selling for.

ill bet you did! i thought so too, though.

 

It's such an incredibly tough book compared to all the other 1963 keys.

 

I've never had good luck at auctions though. No matter how special the book, I always find auction results underwhelming.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns up somewhere selling at closer to $50K in the near future.

Sorry, was that your copy? I thought yours was still for sale for a higher price. I was shocked at the low price. It's still one of the the scarcest in HG mega keys. Maybe it'll never shoot up in price.

 

Kinda surprised at the lowish hammer prices on the CL XMen 1 and TOS 39 tonight Anyone else?

To be honest, I am more surprised at the nose bleed prices on the silver age keys all year.
