This brings up an interesting question in all of TV history, what TV show that

is comic based was the best thing about bring in new readers to the hobby???

 

My thoughts would be the 60's Batman. Campy as it was, I am sure that it brought

comic book styled entertainment to masses that have never even cracked a comic...

Only thing I can think of are the Adventures of Superman. Were those made for TV, or were they serials?
