Vegas would be a great venue for a Wizard show. I bet They could really fill the house with old wrestlers and ex b movie actors then.

And the weekend admission prices for Mid Ohio Con increase to $45 from $25.

When Wizard kills Mid Ohio, the Cincy show will have to become the show us Buckeye's circle on our calendar

All I can do is put the best show on for comic fans, comic talent and retailers. Our team is getting back to work in a few weeks for our 2011 show.

Did they have a Vegas show a few years ago and it was a disaster I read?

 

Also if Wizard is broke now how long before they stop publication or did they just restructure?

 

 

It pretty much was a disaster for dealers as attendence sucked. The few who went

got some great buys. Guest list sucked, and CGC didn't bother attending, which didn't help at all.

Promoters held it at Mandalay Bay and prices for booths and rooms were nuts.

I was at The Rio and never even made it over there, the buzz was so bad.

That was before Vegas did the crash and burn so I'd imagine prices would be much more reasonable today. I'm surprised they didn't make an offer for Comic Con. Imagine paying $250 for your hotel for the week, not the night, freeing up an extra grand to actually spend at the show, not on getting to the show.
