UNCANNY X-MEN # 97. Was going to grade this one at a solid VF... but has upper staple pull. That little problem & the basic wear of two slight smudges (one in the "X" in the logo, the other under Cyclops left foot) keep this baby from obtaining high grade status. Lets call it a VG+/ low FN. On the bright side, it displays great and you can barely see the pulled staple area.

I guess some fade had to occur over the almost 60 years that this mag has been around. See the little rectangle up near the cover model's face? I think thats where a price sticker on a storage bag was that blocked the light from that spot. On a side note, there is no real nudity in this mag... just scantly clad models that look a heck of lot sexier than most of the chicks out there now.

LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (RARE QUERCUS HARDBACK EDITION) by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Anyone who saw the fantastic Swedish film based on this book knows what a great story it is. The American version, that might still be in theaters, LET ME IN, is equally well done. The book really adds a lot of story that didn't make it to the silver screen... read it and find out what you missed about little Abby and her dark secret.
