Sort of a "Bronze Age" guy, so most of these will be from that era. All raw, some fought for (bidding battles on eBay), all great, and all in no particular order (well, alphabetically at least)...

Who couldn't complete a "Bronze Age" collection without these babies...

 

Not much of a "battle" for this one; only $10, at 9.4 no doubt...

 

Some Neal Adams Batman...

 

Didn't have any "Silver Age" Captain America...so...

 

More Neal Adams; was given to me while working in an LCS in 1981 (Thanks, R.J.)...

 

Needed some Jack Kirby issues...

 

Last but not least, had to get this one after getting the essential TPB...

Thanks buddy. This was a really good year for me in terms of artists really exceeding expectations for sketch cover commissions. And the crazy thing is that I got nothing done at Mid-Ohio and that is usually one of my biggies. It was a much less extravagant but still very satisfying collecting year!

That Vigil one is great too. I'd love to get a Grips commission from Vigil.

 

If you see him at a show, he is really easy to get along with. He was doing $60 sketch covers @ Chicago. When I saw Comicjunkie's I had to get one. Highly recommended for sketch cover value.
