ComicLink December eBetter Auction Has Begun!

Over 2200 No Reserve Comic Book Lots

Auction Ends December 14th thru 16th

The ComicLink December 2010 eBetter Auction is underway! This auction is a break from our usual selection, and is a fun hodgepodge of a wide variety of comic books. All eras and genres of comic book are represented within the auction.  One of the special things about this auction is that there are many low to mid-grade Golden Age superhero comics from a newly consigned collection.  There are over 50 low to mid-grade Timely issues alone with some great covers represented.  In addition to 1800+ individual listings, over 300 multiple book lots are available, giving buyers the opportunity to really stock up before the New Year. With close to 2300 lots up for grabs, all with No Reserve, there is something for just about any level or style of collector.  Individual Timely/Atlas offerings range from All Select #1 in .5 to All Winners #19 in CGC 1.8 ® to Marvel Mystery #38 in CGC 3.5 to Venus #19 CGC 3.0.   Golden Age DC's range from All-American #17 CGC .5 (1940, 2nd Green Lantern) to All Star #30 CGC 5.0 to Flash #47 in CGC 4.0 to DC's from the 50's.  There are a couple hundred Golden Age comic books issued by other publishers as well.  Treasure hunters will find Classic Covers from Catman Comics #28 CGC 1.8 (white pages) to Weird Tales of the Future #8 in CGC 3.5 within the auction.  Most Golden Age comics within the auction are low to mid-grade but higher grade Golden Age enthusiasts will also find treasures, such as Captain Science #2 in a beautiful CGC 8.5, Haunt of Fear #15 CGC 8.5, Smash Comics #5 (1939) in CGC 7.5 (highest graded!) and others. Individual Marvel offerings range from Amazing Spider-Man #1 CGC 1.8 to Avengers #4 CGC 8.0 to Giant-Size X-men #1 CGC 9.6 to a 9.8 Ultimate Spider-Man run. Individual Silver/Bronze DC offerings range from Flash #109 in CGC 3.0 to Green Lantern #76 CGC 4.5 to Wonder Woman #205 in CGC 9.8 (great cover!).  There are also a few hundred high-grade CGC Modern Age comic books within this auction and many books not graded by CGC or PGX but graded by ComicLink within this auction.

I would also like to mention to prospective sellers that ComicLink is now accepting consignments for the January Focused Auction (starting January 4), and the February Featured Auction (starting February 4). If you would like to reserve auction slots for January or February and gain valuable preview exposure for your lots in the upcoming auctions (both are strongly recommended), simply send us your prospective auction list as soon as possible. E-mail buysell@comiclink.com for a prompt reply or call Douglas Gillock, Jason Crosby, Sean Goodrich, Josh Nathanson, or other members of the ComicLink team at 617/517-0062. Of course, registered sellers may also list items for sale on the Comic Book Exchange and the Comic Art Exchange at any time.

My Best,
