Not being a regular Wizard reader... do they sell for more than or less than Wizard prices?

 

Out of curiosity, what are the wizard prices right now?

 

I don't have my Wizard in front of me, but the prices are something like this:

 

X-men #94, FF #48, Hulk #181 CGC 9.0 all guide around $1,000-1,200

 

Spider-man #14 CGC 9.0 $2,750

 

On Ebay I usually see X-men #94 and FF #48 selling for about $650-$750.

 

Hulk #181 might reach the $950 mark.

 

Spider-man #14 usually goes for around $2,300-2,500.

I can't speak for the Bronze books but good luck getting that for a 9.0 FF 48!

 

Not only does Wizard guide value FF #48 CGC 9.0 at $1,280 they have it highlighted in yellow which means it is a hot book right now. I have 9.0 copies of FF #48, Hulk #181, and X-men #94 and wish I could get that kind of money for them.

 

sign-rantpost.gifThe funny thing with regards to Hulk #181 and X-men #94 is that in the back of the Wizard mag it shows recent sells of both books in CGC 9.0 condition. They sold for $930 and $670 respectively. So Wizard knows what the recent sells were, yet they mark up the guide value to $1,275 on the Hulk #181 and $1,000 for the X-men #94. It just doesn't add up. makepoint.gif
