Absolutely ridiculous. My 9.6 is better looking than this copy (and yeah I looked). With those 2 spots on the back plus the LL bent corner there's no way that's a 9.8.

 

I give up.

Agreed, unless they are actually imperceptible flaws magnified by the scanner. That's what I banked on.

I said 9.8 (shrug)

 

I was thinking I was going to learn something from this round. The book looked like a lay down 9.8 - except for those spots. Given that conventional wisdom is "CGC hammers stains", what happened here?

 

Not complaining - just trying to learn. (shrug)
