Vintage Cover art Sale 1940s - 1960s!

Another lister was quick to educate me (over-REACT-ing?), saying how much he almost enjoyed looking at original art as he did the comic-book equivalent (bit like saying you enjoyed looking at Blu-Ray movies, but preferred good old VHS-quality tapes - considering original art is the the finest representation of a somic-book produced image)..

there are two funny things about being "called out" by you here.

1. You didn't even call me out by name, you used a half-assed blind item (har har)

2. the response I gave you (explaining in a couple of sentences the community standards and how you were trampling on them by spamming the forums) is a LOT nicer than the "go fist yourself" response you could have gotten from some of the people here.

This is the thanks I get for the reasoned response doh!

Nice OA, but it'd be nicer if you'd check the 'tude @ the door, n00b.

Sprechen sie English?

Ah Terry, sometimes I think we are twins separated at birth and by an ocean but united in our effective and devastating use of smart-assery. :cloud9:

Not forgetting the cracks about my, "annoying multiple posts", together with the suggestion that I should, "also post on the coins forum".

The combination of hostility, sarcasm and compliments (as an afterthought) doesn't quite work for me, sorry . . .

But you'll be pleased to know I now totally understand the saying, "Making a mountain out of a molehill."

Very nice pieces -- I've frequently admired your collection on CAF. Don't worry about the response here--some people's only opportunity in life to feel empowered is to play Forum cop.

Thank you.

Those guys have my sympathy. They must lead sad lives.
