I saw something on the scan and graded accordingly. I hope I wasn't imagining things and fell victim to Watson's mind tricks.

You did, just by considering the possibility.

 

Ugh. I was going to give it a 9.0, but thought there was a moderate corner bend - upper right front.... so I dropped my grade to 8.0.

 

doh!

 

Enough second guessing. Going with first gut grade from now on. :makepoint:

 

Same here. Went from 9.2 to 8.5 though so no harm done. Close enough.

I figure if I grade it the way I think it'll land, then bump it up 1/2 grade via points...then I'd be hitting the mid grade books....I'm just too harsh on the books that are in that range apparently....

 

problem is I'm grading how I'd grade and not how I think CGC would grade in all cases, I must not want to win.
