My First Grading Try

So, I sent in my first small batch of books to see how my grading skills have improved since joining here and today my books changed to Graded status. Kind of mixed results, but, not too far off from what I thought. I want to thank everyone that has posted information that has increased my knowledge in grading.

 

I sent in 5 books to start with and got the preliminary grades:

Muppet Show: The Comic #4 C2E2 Exclusive - Thought was 9.6 - Actual 9.4

X-Men v2 #25 - Thought was 9.4 - Actual 9.0

Dark Reign: The List ASM Villian Variant #1 - Thought was 9.8 - Actual 9.8

Batman The Killing Joke 1st print - Thought was 9.6/9.8 - Actual 9.4

Ultimate Spiderman #1 - Thought was 9.4 (maybe 9.6) - Actual 9.8

 

I fully understand the grades are not finalized, but, overall I am happy with what I got, except for the X-Men book. I really thought it would have come back higher than it did.

 

Just want to thank everyone that posts here for helping to improve my skills.
