Jerry Weist just passed away on 01/07/11 last week.

Despite any critics, the Comic Art Price Guide is a fun read to see examples of original art, and even historical data of what certain pieces sold for at auction in the past, so is a nostalgic read:

He was in the midst of writing and releasing an updated edition.
