It is not a tear, it is what would call a wrinkle. Possibly in the past it was bumped down there and the paper just bent in a funny way is all I can figure or done during production?? (shrug)

 

I just know it is not a tear.

I think the white part near the ship on the left is critical. I don't really know what it is. Also I am worried about the tanning of the back cover.

 

But that's a very nice book. I love it. If I were you and if you already bought it, I will submit it for sure, after a little :sumo:

I hear 6.5-7.0.

 

If pressed, maybe higher??

 

I'll defer to the experts, but I'm not sure what pressing would buy you. Looks to me like what little wear there is is color-breaking.
