MEDIAN and STANDARD DEVIATIONS through 16 Rounds

Thanks for that! (worship)

From this information we can see that there is often nearly a 1.0 standard deviation in the grades submitted. This is not a 1 grade difference but a 2 grade difference, since the SD was run on the 10 point scale, both up and down from the median grade. So if we used 1 standard deviation as an "acceptable" range of the consensus opinion, it would often encompass nearly 5 different grades (the median and 2 grades up and 2 grades down). For example in round 6 where the median grade was 6.0 the consensus opinion was so varied that we would accept any grade for this book from a 5.0 to a 7.0. This is a HUGE swing.

The standard deviation appears to be based on the 0.5 to 10 point scale and thus will be skewed on results which contain 9.2 or above selections (because all of the other grades are 0.5). This makes the relative SD larger than indicated in the higher grades.
