I did a search for "sketch cover" today on eBay to see what was up for sale and found this book.

 

I don't get...

 

WHAT is this sketch suppose to be?

Im a fan of his work, since I played Final Fanstay 3 (US title at the time in '94). But that is.... i dunno...... a fan was probably "Hey can you sketch me a Elektra or Wolverine? He was like f-u kid, here have a scribble.

actually I have gotten 2 sketches from Yoshi One elektra and One Wolverine. in both cases the characters were recognizable so he doesn't mind sketching marvel characters. Yoshi probably refused and the guy pushed so he decided to F-up the book

actually I have gotten 2 sketches from Yoshi One elektra and One Wolverine. in both cases the characters were recognizable so he doesn't mind sketching marvel characters. Yoshi probably refused and the guy pushed so he decided to F-up the book

Glad it's not just me. I stared at that thing for a good 3 minutes thinking it was me since whoever got it went through with the slabbing process.

There has yet to be a discernable sketch from him on any book...I have owned one before and had to stare it at for hours before an image appeared also...
