hmm... so the knife goes through her bones and flesh, but can't penetrate the back of a shirt? If only the front were that strong, she'd have been ok :P

 

Actually, funny story: When I was about 13 I failed to climb over some spiked railings. Instead of jumping clear to the other side I landed such that the spike went in between the ribs under my arm. (Yeah, it makes me shudder too :eek: ). The funny thing is, although I had a hole in my side that almost penetrated my lung and required internal stitches, my track suit top was undamaged.

This book looks very familiar... I think I may have sold it to Nik years ago.
