  1. I was being facetious. More about the price of the book itself being so high. $15 to ship a high dollar slab like this one is actually fairly reasonable to me. Assuming it's properly packed, insured, has tracking and all that. Not just slapping a half dozen forever stamps on the front of a slab and praying.
  2. Right? I hate feeling like I'm being taken advantage of with high shipping.
  3. Same book, same serial number. Different seller, different price. Gotta love Ebay.
  4. I guess if I wanted to pick a few runner up pedigrees just for fun, I would think about the Central Valley, Hawkeye and Vancouver collections. I understand they all have great freshness and pages.
  5. I would 100% buy a conserved book, particularly a pedigree. I could very well be wrong, but I would assume a conserved book would keep its pedigree designation just as restored books do.
  6. Lemmings don't actually jump off cliffs. That was made up by Disney. https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=wildlifenews.view_article&articles_id=56#:~:text=Lemmings do not commit, how many people believe it.
  7. Very sad news. I always enjoyed when he shared books from his collection and the stories that went with them.
  8. I was very lucky to get this from a fellow boardie many years ago. One of my favorite books. This one is the Cosmic Aeroplane copy.
  9. Oh, I don't know. I thought it was just right.
