Just saw Ironman 2 and I have to say, didn't think it was too good

Just watched it via Netflix and I was disappointed. I thought the -script and dialog was a little corny. The whole shield thing was also a little disjointed. Thanks god I was familiar with some of the story info ahead of time. I thought the whole thread about his father was really bad and building a particle accelerator in your basement to form a new material is just a little too far fetch for me. The ending was a pretty big let down as was the battle with whiplash (both fight actually). And don't get me started about the romance side of it. I plan to send it back to Netflix right away so I don't feel so ripped off.

Wow! I really disagree. Suspension of disbelief is necessary for every superhero movie so I like all the high tech working scenes with Tony Stark. Mickey Rourke isn't a great actor, never was, but he has moments in the movie that aren't bad. And who doesn't love the Shield subplot building between all these movies (much like it did in the comic books). Although I did like the first movie better, Iron Man 2 was perfectly enjoyable. If compared with all the other superhero movies, I'd place it someplace above average.

There have been so many really bad ones. Ever see Elektra? :boo:

So do you think I still have time return that "Create Your Own New Element Kit" to Edmund Scientific? (shrug)

Rourke is one hell of an actor. Pope of Greenwich Village is still one of my favorite movies.

Now, Ben Affleck, that's a horrible actor.

He was outstanding in movies like BARFLY and THE WRESTLER, among others

I thought Iron Man 2 was fantastic. It wasn't perfect, but still really good in my opinion.

It was cool.

On a scale of 1–10 I'd give it about a 7.

It was worth seeing, but even though I own it on Blu-Ray I am tempted to FF through parts.

Black widow made this movie 4 me.

(backing slowly out of the Mickey Rourke Fan Club gathering)

I'm not saying he's an awful actor, I just never saw the broad range of emotionality that people hyped about him. I've seen all the films mentioned and he's just kind of (I know I'm getting in trouble for this), meh(shrug)

If you feel that way after having seen THE WRESTLER, then we must've watched two different movies ???
