Hello all... wanted to see if I can get a little feedback on my JIM 118 I picked up..

 

I am thinking it is in the 5.5 - 6.5 range... am I far off base here?

got a crappy scanner... best I can do with the size restrictions for file uploads...any way to compress or upload the bigger size pics?

That much creasing and spine wear would make me say 4.0!

4 out of 5 dentists would give it a 4.0. the other gave it a 3.5 = 4.0 overall

Appreciate the feedback, I have been trying to learn more about how to tighten up on my grading skills... I will definitely take more care when looking at spine wear, etc. when trying to get a rough idea of what I have...

4.0 assuming there are no spine issues we can't see.

Nah.. it is what you see... I wasn't completely sure as to just how bad the spine wear would affect it grade wise... and since I paid an appropriate price for it.. I don't feel cheated if it turns out to be a 4.0 ish book...

 

I have this in mind for sig series anyway so a lower grade is not as big a concern for me as long as it was a decent, clean cover and an overall intact book to start with....

 

These are getting harder and harder to find.. been looking for about 6 months for one of these and this was the first one I found that wasn't priced through the roof....

I would say a 4.0 as well but wouldn't be surprised to see it get a 4.5.

I think the big corner crease keeps it from 4.5
