I think that you selected one of the hardest books to grade technically just to laugh at the noobs like me when I leave my grade. Honestly, I don't know how to grade for surface wear.

 

6.0-8.0, ha, who is laughing now.

 

...by the way, that is one awesome scan, shows a lot of detail.

this is a very tough one to grade...because of the red cover, all the slight surface wears/thumb impressions are more "pronounced" but I really like that all the edges and corners are sharp without creases...but the spine, thus my 8.0

 

It would be interesting to know what CGC will give if David submit the magazine for sure.

I agree, maybe a 7.5/8.0 copy. Those spine stress lines are all that keep it down.

Unless you are planning to sell it, put her in a nice mylar and enjoy her as you see fit..
