There's a problem with that design. The mylar tabs at the top and bottom (where you cut out the flap) will cut the corners of the spine if there is enough shifting of the book (think like old-day SCS). To prevent sliding you would have to increase the surface tension on the cover and that, in and of itself, will cause a whole other set of problems.

Yeah. Bad drawing on my part. The tabs are supposed to go past where the weld is, so there should not be a tab inside the area where the comic is.

 

I drew it up in haste.
