Batman 181

 

I just bought Batman 181 CGC 8.5 on ebay. I paid much more than I originally intended, but I have desired this book for a long time. I collect first appearances primarily and have this particular issue raw at low grade, so a higher grade CGC copy was a gimme. It is nice when ebay sellers put up such sought after key issues on auction style. Usually you see them at 'buy it now' prices that are exorbitant. Thank you to kristofstack for the beautiful key. My only regret would be if Lee K was bidding on this issue...

If it's worth keeping, it's worth overpaying for.

If you are a collector that loves what he/she collects than sooner or later you will end up overpaying for something. But if you love owning it and you paid a price that was worth it to you, then you did fine.
