Take a look at these two:

Look at the wordage associated with whether the book is restored or not, then compare it with (this is more typical of the other books up for sale):

Smacks of 'came back restored, so we cracked the case' doesn't it tongue.gif

The auction template used by the seller is identical to the one used by nishta65. There was a thread about this seller in the summer. Seller became NARU'd not long after the buyers received their less then satisfactory goods. The DD 1 he has for sale looks like the one he tried to sell in the summer. Buyer Beware.

I recall the original thread now that you point it out. I guess he wanted to put some time between his original activities and now (which also wipes the auctions out of the database), building up some degree of feedback before going for the throat again now.

What a nice man!

Who is our resident pit-bull to tell ebay?!?

I was going to say the exact same thing about it being similar to NISHTA65 (or whatever the name was). He actually wanted to buy my DD 1 CGC 9.0 for $3,500 but I couldn't do it because I knew he would most likely crack the case and sell it as a 9.4 (remember when he sold an "unslabbed" 9.4 for $8,100??!?!?!!?).

Yea I was thinking the same thing about the similarity to Nishta.

The winner of that DD #1 didn't actually pay him. I sent him e-mail warning him and he claimed to me that he directed Nishta to send it to CGC, and Nishta told him it came back restored, so he didn't pay.

I was thinking of you when I wrote that post.. I hope no offense was taken smile.gif.

I also think it depends what kind of software you use in connection with your scanner ( I dont even bother with the software that was given with the scanner). I use Abode Photoshop 5.0 (I think?) and it works great. I can take out all defects and sell a VG book as a NM 9.4 --- OOPS, did I say that? Seriously, though, it has great flexibility and most people like my large scans.
