Can you search owner based on registry ID number?

Wondering if you can some how search who is "currently" the owner based on the CGC number.

Not directly. Going here to look up the certification:

Will not provide that level of detail, but examining sets that are not obscured will show the certification number belonging to a particular owner.

 

Of course, some owners might have multiple certified copies, but unless the owner registers multiple sets (which I've seen done), those "undercopies" are likely to remain mysterious.
