I'm going to see it :whee:

Something tells me it's because of Ryan Reynolds, NOT Green Lantern

How dare you to say that (tsk)

I'm a Green Lantern fan,so I want to see this movie.

If I was seeing this movie b/c of Mr.Reynolds I would have seen Blade:Trinity (good thing I didn't watch it  )

Although he was in X-Men Origins:Wolverine hm

I actually liked the Blade movies. meh

I will be there for sure but it's frustrating to see the apparent dumbing down of the character to appeal to the masses with what looks like some really campy bits. I get that appears to be good marketing as they're getting my (and many of your) dollars regardless of how good/bad the movie is. it also looks like they are going for an Iron Man esque mix. Something I think will be very difficult to do without Robert Downey Jr, who just flat out hit it out of the park in the IM movies. All that said, my $8.50 goes bye bye the day it releases.

There's NO WAY IN HELL I walk into a theatre blind for the love of a character...

I did that for Daredevil and I regretted it ever since...

to this day I wonder what that $20 I pizzed away on that trash I could've bought.

I will support the movie because it is one of my favourite characters and I don't expect it to survive unscathed in the grab for dollars from the general public.

There just is not the fanbase for every fanboys dream of what the character should be on the big screen for every comic character and you know they are going to screw up a few of them.

Now what they are doing to the proven to be successful Spiderman and Superman sequels is another thing altogether that is unforgivable.
