PGM my F.C. # 108 - TAPE OPINIONS?

Having a hard time with this one. There was no reason for the tape on this book but that's life. I think the book is a solid 3.5/4.0 without the tape, maybe a bit higher. Where's Ze-Man?

It is interesting you happen to post this book. Totally unrelated to the grade, but a friend of mine were discussing the relative values of "trades" vs. potential value.

 

This was my example. In 1976, Fantasy #15 had a Mint value of $160....and this book was $200.

 

I have no doubt you could have easily traded a copy of THIS book in "mint" condition for a similar grade copy of Fantasy #15.

FC #108 - $3900.

 

(The impetus for this discussion was an offer to trade my 9.2-ish TMNT #1 for two rare Maxx 1/2 test prints. I passed. )
