PGM Fantastic Four #236...and a question, please read

I have a copy of Fantastic Four #236, which looks to be in 9.8 condition except for 1 thing. There are tears on both spine corners. I have noticed this to be fairly common since this was a larger than normal anniversary issue.

 

My question is, since these are production tears, would this book still pull a CGC 9.8 with those defects?

Hard to see the imperfections in the mylar sleeve.

Yes it is possible since I have had a few 9.8 bronze books with both top and bottom corner spines with bindery tears

+1. Take it out of the mylar, we can get a better idea. (thumbs u
