1 post in this topic

The high grade CGC certified books are all in for Pedigree Comics’ May Grand Auction, which began just a few days ago on the night of Monday, May 9th, and will last for eight (8) days until the evening of Tuesday, May 17th. The auction lots begin to close at 7:00 p.m EST and the final lot ends at 11:59 p.m. The auction has almost 600 choice high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages, plus an incredible group of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and most of the books will have no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. You can check out all 595 books in the Grand Auction right now at www.PedigreeComics.com.

We are proud to announce the latest and final group of ultra high grade books to be added into the auction, a consignment of some incredible Silver and Bronze Age Marvels and DC’s, highlighted by the second highest certified copy of Daredevil #1, a gorgeous 9.6 with off-white to white pages. It features the first appearance and origin of Daredevil from April, 1964 and stands as the best example of this Silver Age key ever offered for sale, eclipsing the 9.6 copy with off-white pages that we sold for a record price of $62,000 in our January, 2010 Grand Auction. Consignors maximize their profits selling in the Grand Auction, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. Pedigree does not charge a Buyers Premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in other sites (the bidders simply deduct that Buyers Premium amount from their final bidding price, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home under Pedigree Comics’ Climbing Scale. We consistently set new sales records for Silver and Bronze Age comics in each Grand Auction and on our regular site inventory. Pedigree’s Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with new and diversified, top-rated CGC material in each event. Why settle for less by consigning with someone else?

Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the upcoming July Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the site, click "Customer Page" under "Your Account" and then click "Consignments" (under "Auctions"). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines. We will receive an email notification automatically once you have uploaded the information and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the July Grand Auction to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to utilize the Automated Consignment System.
