Comics I used to Love...

I always Collected/bought/read Archies... This were some of the 1st books I ever read...

 

 

But I also collect DC books such as Wonder Woman, Superboy, Superman, Batman, Worlds Finest... I only do Golden/Silver age on these...

 

 

I do collect moderns such as the Batman.Superman animated series....

 

However...... when I was a child...

 

I absolutely loved the strange and bizzare art work of the Plop series...

 

I had a full run and I sold them like a dummy when I was much younger....

 

I used to buy Marvels, but I don't anymore, I use to like the Submariner and Spiderman.....

 

But I really miss those Plops!!!! A nice run of high graded ones would be fun!

 

Another favorite from the past was Ritchie Rich......

 

Ahhhhhh.... to be a kid again....

In the mid-70s, I mainly bought Marvels off the rack. Also read my sister's Richie Rich comics & digests after she got thru with them.

Gave away 2 sacks of Richie Rich/Casper/Wendy Witch comics to my young relatives 4 years ago. Seems like they tossed them aside to play Nintendo instead.

Growing up, my favs were Dennis the Menace, and Disney's Chip n Dale.

Always tried to buy a Batman when they had one on the magazine rack, but they were usually all gone by the time I got there
