They are a rip off actually. I can tell you the complete story on them.

 

Museums are only offered on books who are created by retailers who pay a company like Top Cow to do an exclusive cover for them, generally at about 3000 - 5000 print runs numbers. And you know why they are done? Because the original print run of books was too large and they have WAY too many books left over. The company gets some fancy paper (which costs very little), has the image printed on it, and goes to their house and staples the heavy cover on the other book. If you look, almost all of these books will have either 3 or usually 4 staples. And then they charge about 50.00 for this prize.

 

Keep your cash. You could make one at home just as good.
