Can someone tell me exactly what GCG Walkthru service at a convention means?

Who's GCG?

It means you can make a direct submission (walk-in submission) during a convention

Services are priced based on the value of books being graded. The walkthrough service is supposed to be for books valued over $3000.

 

If your book get's "bumped" from a lower tier to a higher one because the book grades out nicely and is more valuable than the tier it was submitted under you will get charged the Walkthrough value.

 

CGC is fairly easy going with this in my experience though, and they don't hit you for every opportunity that they can, but if the difference in value is great it will get bumped.

 

Walkthrough also provides a much faster level of service than any other tier, including on site grading. So even though the book may not be worth $3000 or more, you may want it back faster for some reason. In this case Walkthrough expedites that process.
