I have a bunch of Marvels I will scan later.

 

It's the "Infinite Bronze Horror" thread not just DC. Though I can see how you could come to that conclusion. The amount of HG DC Horrors posted here would make one think they are quite common...

 

So post away Nik...non-DCs are always welcomed...

Yeah, when I first joined into this thread, oh so long ago, I was pretty much a Marvel horror Zombie. Then I was bombarded repeatedly over the head by one DC after another, again and again and again. It was relentless. I posted a few Marvel scans and they just got no respect. So what the hell, if ya' can't beat 'em, ya' join 'em. Now I by far prefer the DCs over the Marvels. And I thought that I could not be brainwashed. Damn you Sterling, Dice, Shiver, etc.

I think everyone who gets one of these must post it sooner or later.

Before I got my first Overstreet back in 86 and got a clue, for years I had this issue tucked in at the end of my run of Ghosts as a special or annual!

This is a title I've recently started on. I never paid it much attention till some of you posted those great covers and got me hooked (which wasn't hard at all!)

 

 

All for now, but I've got a a shovel in hand and am going to dig up the Infinite Modern Horror Thread now and try to resuscitate it. Come see...if you dare!

Thanks Sterling, I like to collect in the VF-NM range but if I come across a Uber HG at a decent price I will scoff it up. As you would agree some of these books just look sooo much better in HG!

I recently scarfed up what I thought would be a "VF"ish collection of books (about 50), what I found is that all of them are in the 9.0 and greater range. For once, I got a "deal". And many of these are upgrades, a few are the first time I've held the issue in my hands.

 

So, in the interest of sharing, here's a few...

I've had 2 or 3 issues of these in the past, finally one worth keeping...

In terms of stress lines, this is the best copy I've seen. However, there's dirt (or maybe something else you can help me identify) along the spine. It doesn't look like foxing to me.

Just a tiny LRC stress mark, otherwise I think this was destined for 9.4 greatness. First copy I've obtained of this ish.

Very difficult to obtain, this issue has super gloss and very very minute defects. Wow!

Somewhat easier to obtain, this is the first copy I've had in the 9.x range.

I've had this issue before, but the glossy cover coat and white pages makes me Too bad that the top part of the book impacts the text..

This copy sports shiny gloss, white pages, and high grade potential. This is the FIRST time I've held this issue in my hands. About time!
