New High Grade Marvel Consignment in Pedigree Comics’ Grand Auction!

The consignments are continuing to come in for our upcoming Grand Auction, scheduled to begin in just5 (5) weeks on the night of Tuesday, July 12th, and last for seven (7) days until the evening of Tuesday, July19th. The auction will have over 300 choice high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure and press they will receive. Pedigree aggressively promotes and advertizes each Grand Auction on many online sites and trade publications and we also send periodic newsletters to all of our over 17,000 customers announcing the individual auction items. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every lot will be listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. The latest consignment is a group of just certified (just a few days ago) Silver Age Marvels from the mid to late 1960’s from a high grade collection out of Michigan. Many of the books (over 50 in total) are 9.4 and higher with a bunch of 9.6’s and a couple of 9.8’s. Titles include Amazing Spider-Man, Amazing Spider-Man Annual, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Iron Man and Sub-Mariner, Iron Man and X-Men. Most of the books have snow white pages and those that do not have off-white to white. Here are some of the highlights from the collection:

Consignors maximize their profits selling in the Grand Auction, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. We do not charge a Buyers Premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in other sites (the bidders simply deduct that Buyers Premium amount from their final bidding price, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home under Pedigree Comics’ Climbing Scale. We consistently set new sales records for Silver and Bronze Age comics in each Grand Auction and on our regular For Sale section inventory and we do not saturate the market with the same material over and over every month. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with new and diversified, top-rated CGC material in each event. Why settle for less by consigning with someone else?

 

Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the upcoming July Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the site, click "Customer Page" under "Your Account" and then click "Consignments" (under "Auctions"). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines. We will receive an email notification automatically once you have uploaded the information and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the July Grand Auction to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to utilize the Automated Consignment System.
