I was suprised how brown the cover looks in person when viewing it at SDCC.

 

They've got a brilliant photographer. It looks much whiter in the catalog.

I'm not kidding though. Here is a picture a friend took at SD. If you compare the cover to say the Ditko pages in the picture, or even the Crumb piece, you can see how brown the ASM cover is.

 

Also compare this to the catalog photo and you'll see what I'm talking about.
