New Ultra Hi Grade Bogota & Philly Comic Con Books in Pedigree's Grand Auction!

2 posts in this topic

We've got great news for you high grade Marvel and DC collectors out there. Two new groups of gorgeous, ultra high grade (CGC certified 9.4 and higher) comic books are currently awaiting certification at the CGC’s offices and will be graded in time for our upcoming Grand Auction, which begins in just over one week on the night of Tuesday, July 12th at 8:00 p.m. The auction will last for seven (7) days ending in the evening of Tuesday, July 19th. The auction will have over 350 high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages plus some 9.9’s and 9.8’s from the Copper Age, including the world’s best existing copy of New Mutants #98 (first appearance of Deadpool), a perfectly centered MINT 9.9 with white pages!.

We are still accepting CGC certified comics and magazines for the auction and will continue to do so until Wednesday night, July 13th. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure and press they will receive. We aggressively promote and advertize each Grand Auction on many online sites and trade publications and we also send periodic newsletters to all of our over 17,000 customers announcing the individual auction items. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every lot will be listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. You can check out over 175 high grade certified books in the Auction Preview right now at www.PedigreeComics.com.

Remember to check this space and the Pedigree Comics Website (in the Latest News section) over the next couple of weeks to find out the grades on the Bogota and Philly Comic Con books plus the remaining 15 or so books from the Twin Cities Collection that will also be in the auction. Many of these books will be the highest and second highest CGC certified copy so don’t miss out.

If you have high grade CGC certified comic books to sell or consign, do yourself a favor and contact Pedigree Comics. Please go to the site (www.PedigreeComics.com) for all consignment information or contact us at (561) 422-1120 or (561) 596-911 or by email at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. Again, we are still accepting consignments for the auction and will do so until midnight on Wednesday, July 13th.

Consignors maximize their profits selling in the Grand Auction, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. we do not charge a Buyers Premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in other sites (the bidders simply deduct that Buyers Premium amount from their final bidding price, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home under Pedigree Comics’ Climbing Scale. We consistently set new sales records for Silver and Bronze Age comics in each Grand Auction and on their regular site inventory listing and we do not saturate the market with the same material over and over every month. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with new and diversified, top-rated CGC material in each event. Why settle for less by consigning with someone else?

Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the upcoming July Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the site, click "Customer Page" under "Your Account" and then click "Consignments" (under "Auctions"). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines. We will receive an email notification automatically once you have uploaded the information and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the July Grand Auction to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to utilize the Automated Consignment System.
