The bindery defect IMHO doesn't degrade the book to a 6.0...7.5 and 8.0 do allow a limited accumulation of minor bindery/printing defects (with the miscut being such a minor defect IMHO)

 

With the cover defects, tear on the FC and the BC, however,the book grades 5.5 IMHO

Hang on. That's not a tear on the FC. I just noticed you said that. It looks like a tear in that pic but it isn't.

 

But on the BC is a tear right? IMHO it drops it below 6.0 (it would do so for me at least)....

Yes, two tears in fact. One slight one and the other a small one.
